Darkstalker AU: Anemone

It has been seven years since Darkstalker's return. Seven years since all of the animus dragons disappeared. Most have died since then. Only two remain. Siblings.

Anemone has developed into an imposing dragoness, with long graceful features that would be considered beautiful had it not been for the scars lining her body, and the starvation that chipped away at her body. Her eyes are glazed over with a red sheen, like a cloud of bloodlust. Her tongue is raked by large talons, and her voice, though rarely used nowadays, sounds slithered and painful.

Anemone is lost to her magic, soulless and devoid of conscience. Her soul is believed to be long-gone, used up in Darkstalker's animus experiments. Now, she is bound to his dungeons, with an unbreakable shackle that prevents her from leaving, lest she wither and die. Darkstalker despises her for her failure in the experiment and her heritage, though he does harbour a slight bit of mercy for her, unlike with Turtle. When he is too busy or deems the target unworthy of an execution by him, Darkstalker throws dragons that break his laws into the dungeon.

Anemone takes an almost animalistic pleasure in ripping apart these dragons, with chaotic and untamed magic as well as her own two talons. A few have tried to reason with her, but such attempts only usually succeed for a few minutes. A combination of starvation, pain, loss of soul and the need to have any control at all has claimed Anemone's mind to complete insanity. It is a pitiful fate, a princess to an executioner, but such is the effect that the loss of her soul has had on her life.
